Writer's Block: Get up

If you had to eat the same breakfast everyday for a year (and it would be prepared and served to you), what would you choose?

Apples and cinnamon oatmeal, hands down!

Writer's Block: Eeny, meeny, miny, moe

If you had to give up swimming, skiing, hiking, or biking for the rest of your life, which would you choose, and why?

Hehe, I'd choose skiing because I've never been. Ya cannot miss what you never had, right?

Writer's Block: Ticket to ride

If you could take an all-expense-paid two-week vacation to anywhere in the world with one friend or partner, where would you go and who would you take?

I would go to Spain with one of my sisters because (it is very far away from mom) it's beautiful there, and we (all) have taken some Castillien courses.

Writer's Block: Marathon sessions

Aside from sleeping and being awake, what is the longest consecutive amount of time you've spent doing one thing? What was it?

I am fairly certain that writing my AP Language research paper was the task I have spent the most time on in one sitting. The day before it was due, I started on writing the paper at 11 in the morning. I finished the paper at 1:45 the following morning, the only breaks I took were for food and for rest room usage.

Writer's Block: Next stop: Hollywood

Which book that you've read would make a great movie, and why? Who would you pick to play the main characters?

View 1038 Answers

Books stereotypically make horrible movies, which then cheapen the quality and reputation of the book.

Writer's Block: Going down

You're on a crashing plane and your partner is fast asleep. Would you wake her/him up to say 'I love you' one last time or let her/him die in her/his sleep?

Not a chance. I would hate to be the one woken up and told I was about to die. I would spare the friend that fear and misery. After all, what good is telling someone that you love them if both your lives are going to end within minutes? It's not like it will make a difference in the end.

The Value of One Letter Responses

I have finally grasped how one can happily imply an irritated tone by responding "k." I've had a series of epiphanies recently, and I finally understand that a person I've considered a best friend is really not a friend at all. This "friend" has created so many excuses and fabricated reasons why plans fall through and things won't work. On top of this, the "friend" has the hutzpah to ask if I understand the reasons given, or if I'm okay with it. I have relegated myself to one word answers and avoidance, so that I don't explode at this "friend". I am just irritated with everything this person has put me through, and so every time the person asks, my wonderful one letter response will surface and bite them in the ass. And one day, the person may finally realize that my one word/letter responses aren't just me being too lazy to type longer responses or refocus my attention from my most recent novel to conjure up a more eloquent answer. And maybe, just maybe, the person will figure out that I've caught on to the game, and I'm not playing anymore.

Writer's Block: Soul together

If you could have the ability to hear everything your best friend or romantic partner was thinking, but you couldn't switch it off (or tell them), would you want it?

View 1337 Answers

Absolutely not. I don't even want to know what I am thinking half of the time. I would hate knowing exactly when our relationship changes--whether it be from platonic to romantic, romantic to platonic, or platonic to nonexistent. I don't want to bear that guilt or responsibility.
